In 2008 Vodafone Netherlands launched the Mobile Working Project and refurbished all its Dutch based offices, starting at its new head office in Amsterdam. Vodafone also focused on new ways of internal communications and branding. It pitched the market for an innovative digital signage service, meeting the new standards for internal branding and engagement and fitting in Vodafone’s long-term strategy and Mobile Working Concept. After an extensive market survey, Signips was appointed as exclusive partner and a pilot started in Amsterdam late 2009. V-Cast was born!
With spectacular results right after its start, V-Cast presented itself as a highly visual, present and attractive channel. Next, it also met with Vodafone’s extensive technical and security standards, making it an approved solution. In February 2010 the office in Maastricht was fitted, including over 35 digital coffee machines, bringing V-Cast’s network to over 100 communication points. In July 2011 the new spectacular office in Eindhoven was connected to V-Cast.
With its high visibility, seamless integration of social media and attractive content, V-Cast is greatly appreciated by Vodafone employees. It’s constant evolvement focuses on interactivity, bi-directional communication, social media and NPS.
